On Wednesday night, the Philadelphia 76ers will play their first game of the new season when they visit Jaylen Brown and the Boston Celtics.
The 76ers are coming off a tough year where they dealt with a lot of injuries.

Joel Embiid Available Against Boston
For Wednesday’s game, the 76ers got good news, as 2023 MVP Joel Embiid is available.

Embiid only appeared in 19 games last season.
He finished the year with averages of 23.8 points, 8.2 rebounds and 4.5 assists per contest while shooting 44.4% from the field and 29.9% from the three-point range.

The 76ers have one of the most talented rosters in the NBA, so their only question will be the health of Embiid, Paul George and Tyrese Maxey.

Embiid was the third pick in the 2014 NBA Draft.
He is in his 10th season playing (all with the 76ers).
Following their showdown with the Celtics, the 76ers will play their next game on Saturday night when they return home to host LaMelo Ball and the Charlotte Hornets.

Following the 76ers, they will play their next game on Friday night when they visit the Knicks at Madison Square Garden.
