Catherine Connolly is on course to be elected the 10th President of Ireland on the very first count, figures from a new poll have found.
A new poll shows the Galway Independent on 44pc support to Heather Humphreys’ 25pc. Some 10pc indicated support for Jim Gavin, who has dropped out of the race, and 21pc of respondents were undecided.
