Jamie Ertle’s First Alert Forecast for Wednesday, 10-22-2025

SAVANNAH, Ga. (WTOC) – A chilly air mass – High pressure is moving in and we wake up to low 40s for many of us Thursday morning.
Hampton to Hazlehurst will wake to up to 43-45°, Savannah to Richmond Hill 47° and 51° for The Islands. Abundant sunshine, and afternoon highs about 75°, a little warmer south of the Altamaha. Perhaps not a fire danger statement tomorrow, as we’ll have less wind.
Friday: 49/77 sunny
Saturday: 52/74 mostly sunny
A coastal trough develops Saturday through Tuesday. We’ll see more clouds a slight chance for showers by late Sunday. Computer models differ on rain chances Monday and Tuesday. How much rain is debatable as well.
Sunday: 55/74 mix of sun and clouds, 10% chance of rain late.
Monday: 57/72 mostly cloudy, 40% chance of rain
Tuesday: 56/69 mostly cloudy, 30% chance of rain
Wednesday: 55/70 mix of sun and clouds, 20% chance of showers.
A cold front approaches mid week, and it looks like we’ll be in for a TREAT for Halloween with very cool air during the day and for Trick-Or-Treaters. Think mid to low 60s at the beginning of the night.
Tropics: Tropical Storm Melissa is located over the central Caribbean Sea. Melissa is forecast to become a major hurricane this weekend as it remains south of Jamaica. It does not look to have any impact on our area.
Stay Safe!
