Kim Kardashian Health Scare Revealed on ‘Kardashians,’ Doctors Find Brain Aneurysm From ‘Stress’

Kim Kardashian is revealing a major health scare on season 7 of The Kardashians.
In a trailer that played at the beginning of the Thursday, October 23, episode, Kim, 45, lying in an MRI machine. She’s later seen talking to sister Kourtney Kardashian, explaining that the scan found “a little aneurysm.” Kourtney, 46, was taken aback and put her hand over her heart, saying, “Whoa.”
Kim added that the doctors suspect the aneurysm — which is marked by swelling in a blood vessel in your brain — is likely related to “stress.” (Brain aneurysms are common, and most don’t rupture or cause serious health issues. However, a rupture can become life-threatening.)
Elsewhere in the episode, Kim opened up about the fallout from her divorce with Kanye West, with whom she shares kids North, 11, Saint, 8, Chicago, 6, and Psalm, 5.
Kim Kardashian left (almost) nothing on the table when sitting down for a tell-all interview on “Call Her Daddy” — especially when it came to details about her past relationship with Kanye West. “When you have kids, it’s definitely harder to leave than it is to stay,” Kardashian, 44, said during the podcast episode, released […]
“I feel more stressed probably just because I have to protect my kids. Everyone around can handle [the drama], but I want to protect my babies. They are going to know things. They’re going to grow up and see,” she said. “So my job as a mom is to just make sure that at a time when that behavior is happening, is just to make sure that they are protected.”

Kim noted that she was “able to hide” Kanye’s controversies from their children “for so long,” but it’s getting harder as they grow up. She later compared her relationship with Kanye, 48, to having “Stockholm syndrome.”
“I always felt really bad and always wanted to help. … [People think] I should have stuck it out and I could have helped. As much as people think that I have the luxury of walking away and not dealing ever again, that’s not my reality,” she explained. “This person — we have four kids together.”
Kim filed for divorce from Kanye in 2021 after seven years of marriage. The former couple finalized the proceedings in 2022.
Despite claims otherwise, Kim said she’s given her ex-husband ample opportunity to show up for their kids after their divorce. “There will be all this talk on the internet about how I’m keeping the kids [from him]. He’s never once called and asked [to see them],” she claimed on Thursday. “But then I’ll wake up and it’s on Twitter that I’m keeping the kids. So when it’s not true and not rational, I can’t engage all the time.”
Another angle. Kim Kardashian and Kanye West had already split when filming for The Kardashians began, but the rapper is still a big presence on the show. “Kanye and I are still going through a divorce now,” the Skims founder, 41, said during the debut episode of the Hulu series, which premieres on Thursday, April […]
She continued, “It’s a divorce, not a kidnapping. We haven’t left. We’re in the same spot and we have the same address, so he knows where his kids are at. What happened to the house that you bought next door and we were going to coparent and do a back and forth where you take them to school every day?”

Kim explained that she had a certain set of expectations for coparenting based on how her parents, Kris Jenner and the late Robert Kardashian, navigated their split. Though she’s doing her best to move forward, Kim also noted that the stress doesn’t go away completely.
“So it’s like you breathe, and then you get antsy, because it’s been a little too quiet, so it’s gearing up … but I can’t stress too much about that,” she said during the episode. “I still have to worry about so many other things and I can’t be a mess and then have my kids see that. If they think I’m OK, then they’ll be strong too.”
