Dani Dyer admits feeling ‘guilty’ as she shares candid insight into life with Jarrod Bowen

Reality television star Dani Dyer had admitted that she feels a little guilty when her twins call her husband Jarrod Bowen “Daddy”.
Dani, 29, has three children, two with husband Jarrod, and one, Santiago, from a previous relationship with Sammy Kimmence.
Dani gave birth to Santiago in January 2021 when she was 24 and now has two twins, Summer and Star, with footballer Jarrod.
Dani made the admission in an interview with entrepreneur and former Made In Chelsea star Jamie Laing on his Great Company podcast.
Speaking about the dynamic between her and Santi’s father and their relationship now, Dani remarked: “I would say we’re very civil and I will always be really civil to him because that’s Santi’s dad.
“There’s going to be times, with Santi in school plays and his birthdays, and I would never want Santi to feel uncomfortable.

“Like Santi’s never going to know his mum and dad being together, which I, kind of, I actually prefer that more because he’s never going to know what he’s missing in that sense.
“Because you always feel guilty, always, because when Jarrod walks through the door and the twins are like ‘daddy daddy’, I feel that Santi, does he feel, does he feel that that’s not his daddy? I always have those feelings. Santi calls Jarrod JJ.”
Dani also touched on her fears about being pregnant, explaining: “Pregnancy is so scary, so scary because you’re growing a baby, like it’s a miracle in a sense, looking after them and making sure you’re doing the right things, don’t eat this, don’t eat that. It was scary.”
During the interview, Dani also discussed going through a heartbreaking miscarriage whilst she was with Sammy, before Santi was conceived.

She told Jamie that this led to her feeling anxious during her pregnancy with Santi. She said: “It was a very early miscarriage. When I got pregnant again, I don’t know how many scans I had.
“I was literally knocking at the door like ‘Can you check again? Can you check again?’ And they were like ‘Dani come on’. I just thought I needed to see him one more time.”
Away from her family, Dani had been due to compete in this year’s series of Strictly Come Dancing, but had to pull out after suffering an ankle injury during rehearsals, but hopes to return to the dance floor next year.
