‘Wanted to change the world’: MTSU grad who was set to act in ‘9-1-1 Nashville’ dies at 23

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WSMV) – A talent agency announced the death of a 23-year-old MTSU graduate who was cast in the new TV show, “9-1-1 Nashville.”
McCray Agency reported the death of Isabelle Tate on October 19.
“I was so lucky to know her, and she will be greatly missed by so many,” the agency shared.
The MTSU graduate’s talent agency said the show was the first series she auditioned for. She had recently returned to acting, the agency said.
Here are instructions on how to watch WSMV4 live on various platforms.
Tate was born and raised in Middle Tennessee. Her obituary states that she wanted to change the world and aspired to be an actress.
“Isabelle loved volunteering her time to all things, particularly animals – her idea of a fun outing was visiting an animal shelter and doling out lots of love,” the obituary said. “Isabelle was full of fire, a fighter, never once making excuses for the fact that she might have a disability relative to others.”
A visitation is set for the family on Friday, with a funeral service to follow at Forest Hills Methodist Church.
