Best Nikola Jokic prop bet for Nuggets vs. Warriors on Thursday 10/23/25

Check out the top Nikola Jokic player prop bet ahead of Nuggets vs. Warriors on Thursday night.

Every team has a plan — until they face the Joker.

The Denver Nuggets head to San Francisco on Thursday night for their season opener against the Golden State Warriors. The Dubs enter with momentum from a 119-109 win over the Los Angeles Lakers on Tuesday night.

The Nuggets, meanwhile, are eager to rekindle their championship ways following a premature exit in the Western Conference semifinals, where they lost a Game 7 heartbreaker to the eventual champion Oklahoma City Thunder. This offseason, they tailored their supporting cast to build an imposing offensive attack centered around one of the most complete players of all time: Nikola Jokic.

Tipoff is set for 10:00 p.m. ET at Chase Center. Golden State enters as a -125 moneyline favorite, while Denver sits as a +105 underdog. The total is set at 233.5 points.

Ahead of the Thursday night contest, here’s my favorite Nikola Jokic prop bet on DraftKings Sportsbook.

Best Nikola Jokic prop bet for Nuggets vs. Warriors

Nikola Jokic enters his 11th NBA season fresh off his most dominant campaign yet. The 6-foot-11 unicorn averaged a career-high 29.6 points and 10.2 assists, along with 12.7 rebounds per game on 58/42/80 splits — joining Oscar Robertson and Russell Westbrook as just the third player in NBA history to average a triple-double for an entire season. And somehow, even that wasn’t enough to earn him a fourth MVP in five years.

Widely considered the best player in the game, Jokic will be further bolstered by arguably the strongest supporting cast of his career. Denver shipped Michael Porter Jr. to Brooklyn in exchange for Nets’ standout Cam Johnson, a move that also freed up cap space to improve roster depth. Jokic, already virtually unstoppable, now has even more tools at his disposal to challenge opposing squads.

Jokic, 30, has an opportunity to show off against Golden State. The Warriors will likely try to counter with Al Horford and Draymond Green — both strong defenders, but ones who have done little to contain the perennial MVP over the years. At 39, Horford is unlikely to slow Jokic, who has averaged 31.3 points, 12.7 rebounds, and 9.4 assists in his last 10 games against the Warriors.

Jokic is a statsheet stuffer, one who rattled off 34 triple-doubles in 70 games last season — a near 50 percent hit-rate. With a deeper roster around him, expect the Joker to kick off the 2025-26 campaign with an exclamation point.

Best Bet: Nikola Jokic Triple-Double (+166)
