Lyqa Maravilla, a popular educational content creator, took to social media to remind people to respect a family who is mourning the loss of a dear loved one.
Lyqa shared this message on her Facebook account, urging everyone to be considerate and respectful. “Hindi responsibilidad ng grieving family to give you all the details just to satisfy your curiosity.”
She added, “She’s loved. She’s gone. You can leave it at that. Respeto lang.”
Although Lyqa did not specifically mention anyone by name, social media has been abuzz this Friday morning (October 24) following the confirmation from Kuya Kim Atienza’s family that his daughter, Emman, has passed away. She was 19.
The death of the promising Gen Z content creator was announced by her mother, Felicia, in a heartbreaking post on Instagram.
“It’s with deep sadness that we share the unexpected passing of our daughter and sister, Emman.
She brought so much joy, laughter, and love into our lives and into the lives of everyone who knew her.”
Emman was managed by Status by Sparkle, the digital arm of Sparkle GMA Artist Center.
