India bring in Kuldeep, Australia win another toss and bat

Australia won the toss and chose to bat against India
Australia resisted the temptation to rest their all-format quicks with Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood lining up for the second game in three days. Starc has retired from T20Is so won’t be part of the upcoming series but Hazlewood is in the squad for the games in Canberra and Melbourne.
They made one change to their XI with Nathan Ellis replacing Xavier Bartlett, who was exceptional in Adelaide with three wickets including Virat Kohli for a duck.
India made two changes with left-arm wristspinner Kuldeep Yadav finally getting a game and Prasidh Krishna coming into the pace attack for Arshdeep Singh, who was one of a number of India players to struggle with cramp in Adelaide. Allrounder Nitish Reddy was unavailable for selection due to a left quadriceps injury sustained during the second ODI.
Australia have never whitewashed India in a bilateral men’s ODI series. This match is also all-but certain to mark the final outings in the country for Kohli and Rohit Sharma.
