The third ODI between Australian Cricket Team Indian Cricket Team is currently underway at the Sydney Cricket Ground, Sydney. The spotlight once again was on Indian batting legends Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma as it has been in the entire series. Not only this, the duo also equalled an iconic record of Sachin Tendulkar and Rahul Dravid for India in international cricket after they were named in the XI for third ODI.
Rohit Sharma and Virat Kohli, who last played for India in ICC Champions Trophy 2025, made their comeback to international cricket after a gap of seven months during the ongoing ODI series. While, Rohit impressed many with his half-century in the second ODI in Adelaide, Kohli has struggled to get going, getting dismissed for ducks in both encounters.

They went on to play for India in all three formats together until 2024, when they announced their retirements from T20Is.
