Proteas all-rounder outlines plan on how to beat Australia

Their task will be difficult given Australia enters the match without a loss at the event and the seven-time World Cup champions have never been beaten by South Africa at a 50-over Women’s World Cup.
But the Proteas did upset Australia in Sydney at the start of last year and Bosch thinks they can repeat the dose if they stick to their game plan.
“They are the best team in the world and it’s really difficult to beat them,” Bosch said.
“You have to do the basics really well and the team that does the basics better for longer and just kind of stays in control of the game for the longer period of time will end up being successful against them.
“But they are a really difficult side to beat and they’ve been playing really well this whole tournament. Even when they were in difficult situations, they have found a way to pull through.
“They kind of always put the other team under pressure, regardless of the situation, and they always kind of have the upper hand or they find the upper hand again.
“I think just doing the basics well and sticking kind of to our skills and what we do well and applying ourselves and sticking to our game plans. Then you’ll have the best chance. And like I said, if you do all of that well, then the results will take care of itself.”
