York City: Match Preview

FC Halifax Town will entertain York City in an early kick-off tomorrow in the Enterprise National League, 12.30pm kick-off at the Shay.
The Shaymen go into the game in 9th place on the back of a second National League Cup win of the season in midweek, beating Leeds United U21s 3-0 at the Shay.
Town lost 2-1 away at Truro City last weekend with a late winner from Luke Jephcott giving the Cornish side all three points and it ended five league wins in a row.
Adam Lakeland’s side are two points behind the Minstermen who are in 6th position in the table
York drew 2-2 at home to Boreham Wood last weekend and have been Wealdstone 4-0 at home and 2-1 away at Hartlepool.
On the road they are unbeaten with four wins and three draws to date scoring 12 and conceding 6 goals.
Last season Jamie Cooke put the Shaymen ahead at the Shay but two injury time goals from Malachi Fagan-Walcott & Ollie Pearce gave the North Yorkshire side all three points.
