Le Bris reveals Sunderland injury blow and boost ahead of Chelsea game

Sunderland defender Omar Alderete will miss this weekend’s game against Chelsea, boss Regis Le Bris has revealed.
The Paraguay international is undergoing concussion tests which means he will not be able to be involved.
“He is under concussion protocol with daily assessments,” Le Bris said ahead of the game.
“We’ll keep monitoring his progress to the end of this week and to the next one to see if he will be available for Everton but for now it’s too early.”
But Noah Sadiki is set to be included following an injury concern in the win over Wolves last time out.
“He recovered really quickly,” Le Bris said. “I was a bit worried after the game against Wolves but he has trained fully this week. He is young, flexible, and ready to play.”
Sunderland will also be boosted by the return of Reinildo following his three-match suspension for a red card.
They do, however, also look set to again be without Luke O’Nien, Leo Hjelde, Aji Alese, Romaine Mundle and Dennis Cirkin through injury.
