Saturday’s Football Bet of the Day
Inter to win
Napoli vs Inter
Serie A, 5pm Saturday
Napoli pipped Inter to the Scudetto last season and the Serie A rivals are level on 15 points after seven rounds of fixtures in 2025-26.
Saturday’s trip to Naples looks to be a great opportunity for Inter to enhance their title credentials against a Napoli side thrashed 6-2 by PSV Eindhoven in the Champions League this week.
Manager Antonio Conte is missing injured striker Romelu Lukaku and has a major fitness concern over Rasmus Hojlund, who has impressed for Napoli after arriving on loan from Manchester United.
Inter’s ace attacker Marcus Thuram is sidelined but they have classy understudies in Francesco Pio Esposito and Ange-Yoan Bonny, who are vying for a place up front alongside club legend Lautaro Martinez.
While Napoli have had to scrap hard to stay in touch with the Serie A pacesetters, Inter are increasingly impressive under manager Cristian Chivu.
They have won their last seven games in all competitions and followed up last weekend’s 1-0 victory at in-form Roma with a 4-0 Champions League win away to Union Saint-Gilloise.
