Strictly Come Dancing professional Nikita Kuzmin has kept his home life largely out of the spotlight

While we’re accustomed to seeing Nikita Kuzmin on our screens every Saturday night, he’s chosen to keep his personal life largely private. Nikita’s social media is primarily filled with glimpses of his life in the training room. Nikita, 27, is currently partnered with West End star Amber, 29 on Strictly Come Dancing.
Despite, Nikita not have much time to enjoy his chic flat with his adorable cats, Leo and Bagheera. His girlfriend, model Lauren Jaine, has appeared in several photos taken at the flat, but it’s unclear whether they live together.
If not, Nikita certainly isn’t short of company with his feline friends. At one point, he even had a litter of cute kittens to keep him company.
The chic flat boasts a balcony where Nikita exercises and undoubtedly soaks up some sun in what is clearly a sun trap, reports OK!.

Inside, there are cosy grey sofas for relaxation and a sleek white high-gloss kitchen where the fit and healthy star prepares his nutritious meals to sustain him after exhausting days in the rehearsal room.
However, Nikita isn’t the only one with an interest in food. He shared a photo of Lauren enjoying a tasty-looking plate of pasta in the flat’s dining area – a meal that one of his cats seemed quite interested in.
One fascinating aspect of the apartment, which spans two floors, features an enormous wall timepiece where each numeral is depicted through different artistic styles in framed pictures mounted on the wall. During the festive season, an impressive Christmas tree becomes the centrepiece of the lounge area.
Nikita also enjoys playing guitar as a pastime to unwind in his personal sanctuary.
Born and brought up in Ukraine, Nikita relocated from Germany to Britain in 2021 to take part in Strictly Come Dancing, transforming his London apartment into a proper home.

Nevertheless, the professional dancer has previously opened up about his childhood in Kyiv. During an appearance on The One Show, he shared that his grandmother fled Ukraine during the Russian invasion.
“It is exactly when it hits you home when you start to see the streets in which you have been walking which you grew up, where all your childhood was, right now being destroyed, bombed and it is honestly just heartbreaking,” he said.
It comes as Nikita has quashed any rumours of the infamous Strictly curse affecting his relationship, assuring fans that his girlfriend, Lauren, understands that for him, dancing is purely professional.
The pro dancer is no stranger to how quickly gossip can spread among the contestants.
However, Nikita is adamant that his performances don’t encroach on their relationship.
He said: “I think it can be difficult for anyone who isn’t a dancer to understand, but she knows it’s just a job. We don’t really think about it in a romantic way – it’s just part of what we do. And if there was ever an issue, we’d talk about it and just sort it out.”
Nikita confessed that he has considered the future and possibly tying the knot with Lauren, and it’s evident he’s head over heels for her as he praised her supportive nature:
He shared: “I’m really lucky to have a supportive family and girlfriend. I always call my mum on my way home, and when I get back, I have Lauren waiting for me. We make time for each other.”
In October 2023, Nikita made his relationship with Lauren ‘Insta official’ by posting a charming collection of photos on Instagram.
