Miami Hurricanes edge rusher Akheem Mesidor is now listed as questionable for No. 9 UM’s home game against the Stanford Cardinal on Saturday (7 p.m., ESPN).

Mesidor’s designation was added to the team’s availability report on Friday. He was not on the initial report released by the Atlantic Coast Conference on Thursday.

A final pregame report with an update on his status will be released at 5 p.m. Saturday.

Mesidor sustained an apparent foot injury late in Miami’s 24-21 upset loss to Louisville last week. He returned to the game but clearly wasn’t at full strength down the stretch.

Mesidor has formed a formidable one-two punch on the Hurricanes’ defensive line with Rueben Bain Jr. He leads the team with three-and-a-half sacks and ranks second with five tackles for loss.
