(Beef) cake by the ocean!
Joe Jonas was spotted chilling in the surf on Monday, as per TMZ.
Paparazzi pics show the 36-year-old isn’t slacking on fitness (or chest day) despite being on tour. The pop star and his two brothers will bring their Jonas20 Greetings From Your Hometown tour to Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise Friday night. The guys move on to Orlando’s Kia Center Sunday and Monday.
Jonas is no stranger to the area. The New Jersey native and his then wife Sophie Turner bought a mansion in the Bay Point community in 2021. The parents of two flipped it for a tidy profit roughly three years later amid their divorce.
While in town, Jonas managed to have some nighttime fun, hitting up Bad Bunny’s Gekko restaurant in Brickell after the reggaetonero’s big win at the Latin Billboard Music Awards Thursday night.
We have a feeling we’ll be seeing Jonas around town once the tour wraps, and most likely somewhere near the water. The musician told People magazine last year during an Art Basel event that he’s a huge fan of the 305, despite the fact that it gets a bad rap sometimes.
“There’s sometimes the eye roll of people like, ‘You live in Miami? Is it just clubs everywhere?’ And I’m like, ‘Yeah, there’s clubs everywhere, but you can also go to the beach and relax and watch the sunset.’”
For those that are interested, Jonas is single, way single. In a new Esquire profile he admitted it’s hard to connect with potential partners while traveling from city to city, but he’s trying.
“Five shows in a row doesn’t make it easy to meet someone for coffee,” the former boybander told the outlet.
But don’t expect to see the “Olivia” singer on any celebrity dating apps like Raya. You’ll have better luck reaching out to him directly on social media like Instagram and TikTok.
“I’ve met people that way,” he said.
