JaCobian Morgan injury update: Jackson State QB exits game vs Grambling State

LAS VEGAS — Jackson State football quarterback JaCobian Morgan exited the Tigers’ game against Grambling State on Oct. 25 in the first quarter.
Redshirt freshman Parker Stofa entered the game in Morgan’s place. At the time of his exit, Morgan was 3-for-6 on passing for 63 yards and had one rush that went for 7 yards and a touchdown.
Morgan was seen limping on the sideline before heading into the medical tent. At the 9:54 mark, Morgan was seen on the sideline in sweats. He was using crutches with a boot on his left foot.
At the time of Morgan’s exit, Jackson State (5-1, 3-0 SWAC) led Grambling State (4-3, 1-2) by a score of 7-0. JSU and GSU are facing off at Allegiant Stadium for the inaugural P&G Las Vegas HBCU Classic.

JaCobian Morgan has started all but one game for Jackson State this season. Coming into the game against Grambling State, he had completed 62% of his passes for 1,120 yards, 11 touchdowns and two interceptions. He’d also rushed for 258 yards and one touchdown on 39 carries.
