Full injury report for Paul George, Sixers vs. Hornets in home opener

The Philadelphia 76ers will play host to the Charlotte Hornets on Saturday for the home opener at the Xfinity Mobile Arena looking to build off their road win over the Boston Celtics to open the season. The Sixers received contributions from up and down the roster to get the job done on the road and will look to carry it into the home schedule.
In terms of who will be available against the Hornets, there will still be a few players on the sidelines for Philadelphia. Jared McCain, of course, is out as he continues to recover from surgery on his right thumb from the torn UCL he suffered. His re-evaluation should come in early November.
As for Paul George, he will remain sidelined. The Sixers are continuing to work him in slowly at this point as he recovers from offseason knee surgery. He is practicing and should be close to a return.
Trendon Watford also remains out due to left hamstring tightness. He is also beginning to practice, though, so he should be rather close to making his Sixers debut.
The 1-0 Sixers and the 1-0 Hornets will tip off at 7:30 p.m. EDT from the Xfinity Mobile Arena on Saturday.
