Dodgers take 3-1 lead over Jays in Game 2 of World Series

So what makes for a bandwagon fan?

While Toronto has its diehard fans, there are certainly those bandwagoners who suddenly started sporting blue when the Jays made the playoffs.

CBC News has calculated that to differentiate true fans from bandwagoners, a true fan should have viewed a certain number of games and know a certain number of players.

But what are those numbers?

Parker James says if you don’t want to be considered a bandwagon fan, you should be able to name at least the starting nine in the lineup.

And the number of games viewed?

“Forty, 50 for the year,” James said.

Evan Dawson says you need to know at least five players on the roster.

“I say you gotta tune in to a couple games a week during the regular season,”said Dawson.

But Dawson has opened his arms to bandwagon fans.

“If you’re cheering for Toronto, we allow them.”
