John Karpi Sr., president of Ranco Precision Sheet Metal, talks about his company’s cowbell being used in SNL’s “More Cowbell” sketch in Flanders.

Despite the show’s name, there will be no live taping of the hit comedy sketch show “Saturday Night Live” on Oct. 25.

SNL took a week off after Sabrina Carpenter pulled double duty as host and musical guest for the Oct. 18 show. But don’t worry — the show will return to late-night television on Saturday, Nov. 1.

Who’s hosting “Saturday Night Live” for Saturday, Nov. 1, what time does it air and where can you watch? Here’s what to know.

Who’s hosting ‘Saturday Night Live’ on Nov. 1?

Actor Miles Teller, known for his roles in “Top Gun: Maverick,” “Divergent” and “Whiplash,” will host “Saturday Night Live” when the show returns on Nov. 1, the show announced on X.

Teller made his hosting debut in 2022 during the Season 48 premiere. Although he’s only headlined the show once before, the 38-year-old was featured in “Bronx Beat,” one of the show’s most beloved sketches, for SNL’s 50th anniversary special on Feb. 16, according to NBC.

In the skit, SNL alums Amy Poehler and Maya Rudolph play chatty talk show hosts with heavy New York accents. During the show’s anniversary special, the two reprised their roles, where they chatted with Teller before being joined by Mike Myers.

Who is the SNL musical guest on Nov. 1?

Joining Teller as the musical guest for the first November show is singer-songwriter Brandi Carlile, whose eighth studio album, “Returning to Myself,” came out on Oct. 24. It will be the 11-time Grammy Award winner’s fourth appearance on SNL, and her third as a solo musical guest.

Carlile performed in Season 50 alongside Elton John and host Jack Black, and sang “The Joke” for “SNL50: The Homecoming Concert.”

SNL Season 51 schedule

“Saturday Night Live” returned to late-night TV on Oct. 4, with three straight weeks of episodes per NBC’s website:

Oct. 18: Sabrina Carpenter/Sabrina Carpenter

Oct. 4: Bad Bunny/Doja Cat

Oct. 11: Amy Poehler/Role Model
