Uma Chetry Makes Her ODI Debut In Last Group Game; Kranti, Rana Rested

Richa Ghosh has been rested and Radha Yadav will be playing her first game of the tournament
The Indian women finally won a toss in the ongoing ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup in India, and skipper Harmanpreet Kaur had no qualms in bowling first on an overcast and rain-interrupted day in Navi Mumbai.
This game against Bangladesh is India’s last group game in the World Cup, and the results of this game will have no bearing on the qualification or the lineups for the semifinal. As a result, India have gone with as many as three changes in the playing 11.
The biggest change is that wicketkeeper batter Richa Ghosh has been rested for this game, and has been replaced by Uma Chetry, the keeper batter from Assam who was included in the side after Yastika Bhatia sustained an injury and had to be removed from the World Cup squad. Chetry, who has played seven T20Is for India, was given her ODI debut cap today itself.
Apart from that, pacer Kranti Gaud has been rested for workload management, and all-rounder Amanjot Kaur comes in her place. Meanwhile, off-spinner Sneh Rana has been rested too, and Radha Yadav will be playing her first game in this World Cup for India.
However, the start of the game has been delayed due to showers coming right after the toss. With more rain spells predicted in the day, it is expected to be a shortened game.
