The Spanish giants took them apart 6-1 in the Champions League league phase, with a hat-trick from Fermin Lopez, a double from Marcus Rashford and a Lamine Yamal strike. Ayoub El Kaabi’s penalty was hardly a consolation.
The result left Barcelona ninth in the standings, three points behind Real Madrid, who have a perfect record of nine points from nine so far.
Barcelona’s sole loss in Europe this term came against Paris Saint-Germain on October 1, a 2-1 reverse at Montjuic.
