Breezy and warm Sunday to be followed by rain, snow Monday

CASPER, Wyo. — Casper will find itself in another warm and breezy end to the weekend today, with rain coming through the area later tonight.
Today will be mostly cloudy, with a high around 62 degrees. Wind will arrive from the west and southwest around 28-33 mph and will decrease to 14-19 mph later as the day progresses. For a time, gusts of up to 44 mph are possible.
Later tonight, rain will come through the area. The National Weather Service estimates an 80% chance of precipitation for Casper before 2 a.m. Winds will continue to blow overnight, starting between 8 and 13 mph and increasing to 18 to 23 mph later in the night. Gusts of up to 37 mph are possible.
The work week starts Monday with a cooler and wetter day. The day will begin with a chance of rain before 10 a.m. and could see both rain and snow immediately after and into the afternoon. The high for the day will rise only to 48 degrees, while winds are expected to blow 26-31 mph and later 16-31 mph. Snow is not expected to accumulate.
Snow will continue until around 9 p.m. Monday, after which a chilly and calm evening will commence. The low will fall to around 25 degrees, while winds should blow just 9-14 mph.
