Buddy Hield scores 17 points, hits five threes Tuesday

by Bruno Mulé | Warriors Correspondent | Wed, Oct 22nd 8:44am EDT
Buddy Hield scored 17 points on efficient 6-of-11 shooting in the Warriors’ season-opening win over the Lakers on Tuesday. He added one rebound and one steal while connecting on five three-pointers.
Fantasy Impact:
Hield came alive in the second half, hitting four of his five triples after halftime to help Golden State take control. While he offered little else statistically (one rebound, one steal), this is typical for Hield, whose primary fantasy value comes from points and three-pointers. He’s worth considering in category leagues if available on the waiver wire and you need help in those specific areas, but his overall fantasy ceiling remains limited due to the lack of contributions elsewhere.
