GAA County finals LIVE: Updates from Armagh, Monaghan and Tyrone county finals as last of the championships are settled
Today will see the last of the county senior football championship finals take place in Armagh, Monaghan and Tyrone as we learn the final picture going into the Ulster Senior Club Football championship.
Neither of Armagh’s finalists have won the Gerry Fagan Cup before, but both Madden and Cullyhanna have shone in this campaign from the opening fixture when they faced each other and St Patrick’s won by a point.
Both sides have reached finals before, Madden in 1998 and Cullyhanna in 2013 and 2016; however, Cullyhanna will be more used to the bright lights and occasion, having won the Armagh, Ulster and All-Ireland intermediate titles just two years ago.

In Monaghan, the usual suspects of Scotsown feature in the final, along with Inniskeen, who have been waiting 77 years for the Mick Duffy Cup to make its way to the eastern border town.
Scotstown have featured in every final since 2012, winning nine of them, including the last time these two sides faced off in a final in 2023, where the Tydavnet outfit won by three points.
Tyrone’s showpiece completes the set, with Trillick taking on final debutants Loughmacrory for the O’Neill Cup at Healy Park in Omagh.
St Teresa’s defeated parish rivals Carrickmore to make their maiden county final, but they will be up against tough opposition in Trillick, who bested reigning Tyrone and Ulster champions Errigal Ciarán to go for their 10th county crown.
