Arsenal player ratings vs Crystal Palace: Of course Eberechi Eze would score! Eagles old boy haunts former club to send Gunners four points clear in Premier League title race

Eberechi Eze’s first-half strike proved the difference as Arsenal beat Crystal Palace 1-0 on Sunday. Eze’s goal was his first of the season as the Gunners downed the England international’s former employers on home turf to go four points clear at the top of the Premier League table.

The Gunners weren’t wholly convincing against the Eagles but did just enough to claim another huge three points as Arsenal capitalised on their title rivals Manchester City and Liverpool dropping points over the weekend.

Eze beat Dean Henderson with a fine hit shortly before the break and despite a late Palace push, the Gunners held out to secure all the spoils.
