Veteran 49ers DL leaves game vs. Texans in second quarter with injury

The San Francisco 49ers have had some terrible luck with injuries so far this year, and their defensive front continues to get hit with big injuries.
After losing Fred Warner and Nick Bosa for the year, San Francisco also entered their Week 8 game against the Houston Texans without Bryce Huff and Yetur Gross-Matos, leaving the 49ers without much depth up front.
Then, in the second quarter, San Francisco lost defensive lineman Jordan Elliott to an injury while being double-teamed. The team has yet to announce the nature of the injury or Elliott’s status.
If Elliott can’t go, the 49ers will have to go with Kalia Davis, Alfred Collins and Kevin Givens in the middle. First-round pick Mykel Williams could also move to the interior if needed.
UPDATE: In the third quarter, San Francisco announced that Elliott is dealing with an ankle injury and is questionable to return to the game.
