The 2025 Michigan high school football regular season is over. It’s time for the MHSAA playoffs!
We know know the 256 teams, 32 in each division, in 11-player football that qualified for the state playoffs this year, and still in the running for a visit to Ford Field to play for a state championship.
Teams mostly know where they stand after completing the nine-game regular season, but everyone will find out Sunday exactly what the bracket looks like when the 2025 MHSAA football playoff schedule is revealed on the NFHS Network with a free livestream. There is no TV channel for the broadcast.

How to watch the MHSAA Selection Sunday show
You can watch the MHSAA football playoffs pairing show livestreamed at 5 p.m. Sunday at https://www.nfhsnetwork.com/events/mhsaa-mi/evtddee977bb8. Teams will find out who they will face in the first round of the playoffs, their district and region set up.
The NFHS Network will also livestream dozens of playoff games throughout the run to the state finals at Ford Field, just as it did in the regular season.

- Date: Sunday, Oct. 26.
- Time: 5 p.m. ET.
How to watch MHSAA games on TV with NFHS subscription
Once the playoffs start, all available games can be livestreamed or watched on demand online at www.nfhsnetwork.com or through the NFHS Network App. The app is available on Smart TVs such as ROKU, Amazon Fire, Apple TV and Google TV.

- Districts: Oct. 31-Nov. 8.
- Regionals: Nov. 14-15.
- Semifinals: Nov. 22.
- Finals: Nov. 28 and 30.
When are the 2025 MHSAA football state finals?
All state title games in Michigan high school football are at Ford Field in Detroit, home of the NFL’s Detroit Lions. Here’s the schedule for the 2025 finals.
- Friday, Nov. 28: D8 − 9:30 a.m.; D4 − 12:30 p.m.; D6 − 4 p.m.; D2 − 7 p.m.
- Saturday, Nov. 29: Off day (Michigan State vs. Maryland at Ford Field).
- Sunday, Nov. 30: D7 − 9:30 a.m.; D3 − 12:30 p.m.; D5 − 4 p.m.; D1 − 7 p.m.
When is the 8-playoff football state finals?
The MHSAA 8-player football playoff schedule for 2025 is as follows:
- Regionals: Oct. 31-Nov. 8.
- Semifinals: Nov. 15.
- Nov. 22: D1 − 11 a.m.; D2 − 2 p.m. (both games at the Superior Dome in Marquette on the campus of Northern Michigan University).
