Packers defensive end Micah Parsons talks about facing Aaron Rodgers

Green Bay Packers edge rusher Micah Parsons has a great amount of respect for future Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers.

Green Bay Packers fans should get used to seeing their team in a different look.

The Packers are wearing alternate/throwback jerseys in two straight weeks, beginning with its game against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Oct. 26 for “Sunday Night Football” against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Tonight’s uniform isn’t new, however.

The Packers will trot out their all-white winter-warning uniforms, which they’ve already worn this season, followed by the debut of a 1923-themed classic uniform next week.

The Packers aren’t the only ones with a unique look for “SNF.”

The Steelers are wearing a throwback uniform. And they’re bringing fans back to the 1930s.

Why are the Packers wearing white uniforms?

This is the second time this season the Packers will wear their all-white color rush uniforms. They previously wore those fits during the second game of the season against the Washington Commanders at home on Sept. 11.

In 2025, the NFL increased the number of games that teams are allowed to wear alternate or throwback jerseys from three to four times in a season. That means nearly a fourth of a team’s games could be played wearing an alternate uniform.

Green Bay wore the all-white uniform, which includes a white helmet, twice last season. The Packers are 3-0 wearing the “winter warning” attire in the last two seasons.

The Packers will then wear their “1923 classic” uniforms that they unveiled this summer next week against the Carolina Panthers at home. Kickoff is set for noon on Nov. 2.

The jersey’s color scheme will be blue and gold and feature a hand-painted “leather” helmet look to resemble the leather helmet players first wore during the early days of the NFL. Its complete with tan pants and navy blue socks.

The uniform is based off the team’s attire from the first year the franchise became publicly traded.

Steelers uniform tonight

The Steelers are throwing it back tonight with their uniform.

No, not to the bumblebee uniforms they wore during the 2010s. Those are officially retired.

They’re bringing fans back to 1933 with their uniform against the Packers.

Here are some of the highlights:

  • The Steelers’ black-centric helmet is replaced with a gold finish and black stripe across the middle. The mask is gray.
  • The front of the jersey has a black striping pattern that the 1933 jerseys had to go with black-trimmed white block numbers.
  • Black block numbers fill the back of the jersey.
  • The Pittsburgh City Crest is located in the upper left chest honoring the team’s heritage and connection to the Steel City.
  • The beige pants also are a throwback to the 1933 khaki uniform.
