Kenneth Gainwell rushed three times for 14 yards and caught both of his targets for one yard in Thursday’s 33-31 loss to the Bengals. He also handled kick return duties, gaining 88 yards on three returns.
Fantasy Impact:
With Jaylen Warren having a breakout performance, Gainwell reverted to a strict complementary role, seeing season lows in carries and rushing yards. His main contributions came on special teams. Gainwell is expected to remain in a low-volume role heading into the Steelers’ Week 8 matchup against the Packers and is not fantasy relevant.
