The Clark County Fire Department says one person has died after crews responded to an apartment fire on the 1400 block of E Vegas Valley Dr. at 7:15 p.m. Saturday.
Officials say crews arrived at an apartment building with flames coming from a second-floor unit.
Firefighters found one person inside the unit where they believe the fire started. That person was confirmed deceased.
No other injuries were reported.
The American Red Cross says they are helping a family of four that was displaced from their unit.
