Black Friday is almost upon us, with plenty of retailers gearing up to drop the prices of hundreds of brands across their sites. One of the most popular tech brands in the world is likely to be included in those discounts with thousands of Apple fans likely on the lookout for a bargain this November.
Whether you’re looking for a brand new MacBook laptop to step up your studying game or an Apple Watch to gift to a loved one, there’s likely to be a model on sale at one of the many online retailers that stock Apple’s tech products. The latest model of iPhone isn’t likely to see a huge discount, but there might be some savings to be had on model from 2024 and earlier.
I’ve rounded up everything you need to know about how to shop for Apple deals on Black Friday 2025. There’s also a few exciting deals to hop on in the run up to the event, too – find it all below:
When is Black Friday 2025?
Black Friday normally falls on the last Friday of November, around a month before Christmas. This gives retailers around four weeks to ship out their stock to shoppers in time for the festive period.
In 2025, Black Friday falls on November 28.
What to expect from Apple in Black Friday

With Apple holding such a premium sentiment when it comes to its household name, its gadgets are rarely seen on sale for anything meaningful outside of events like Amazon’s Prime Day and Black Friday. That said, this year’s Black Friday is arriving at an opportune time between Apple’s release schedule of new gadgets, so there’s likely to be some healthy savings to be had on devices like MacBook’s, iPads and AirPods.
In terms of devices I’d expect to keep an eye out for, the AirPods Pro 2 ranks pretty high. These earphones have just been superceded by the AirPods Pro 3, meaning the older model might finally dip below the all-time low of £179 that they reached in last year’s Black Friday sale.
I’d also keep an eye on the price of the 11th generation iPad, which launched at the start of this year. Despite being fairly new by most standards, I’ve seen this tablet with £20 or more knocked off regularly at the likes of Amazon and Very, and it’s likely we’ll see if drop even further this Black Friday.
Those looking to snap up a new laptop would do well to check up on the M4 MacBook Air. With the M5 MacBook Pro just released and an updated M5 Air model rumoured for early 2026, Apple could be set to clear its inventory of the current model ahead of the upcoming release schedule.
Apple recently launched the Apple Watch Series 11 in September, the Series 10 and even Series 9 watches could see some serious discounts too.
However, I wouldn’t expect to see the iPhone 17 with any money knocked off the handset just yet as Apple rarely discounts its brand new flagships before the new year rolls around. While some network operators like EE or Sky might offer some tantalising data packages for less, shoppers are best off looking at 2024’s iPhone 16 for a big discount instead.
Does Apple offer other discounts?

The only discounts that Apple offers on its own site are for students and key workers. Those with a valid university email address or a Blue Light Card can register for exclusive discounts which can sometimes knock hundreds of pounds off tech that’s great for studying, like MacBooks and iPads.
For example, the brand new MacBook Pro M5 laptop starts at £1,499 with educational savings versus the £1,599 it normally costs. In iPad land, the iPad Pro has £100 knocked off its £999 MSRP price tag.
Other than that, shoppers will need to look at third party retailers for the best discounts. Amazon, Very and Argos are your best bets for discounts.
What Apple deals can I shop now?
AirPods Pro (2nd Gen, 2023) – was £229, now £199

As promised, the AirPods Pro second generation are already starting to see discounts following the recent launch of the third gen product. With incredible audio and noise cancellation, these buds are great for both general commuting as well as working out with.
Find them at Very for £30 off, but expect them to get even cheaper around Black Friday.

This year’s most basic iPad has flirted in and out of sales for the last few months, and it currently remains on discount with a healthy 6% knocked off the MSRP at Amazon. With the A16 chip, it just misses out on Apple Intelligence features – but it’s still a super capable tablet that’s ideal for studying, reading, or browsing the web.
Apple iPhone 16e – was £599, now £499

While you’re unlikely to find the iPhone 17 on sale just yet, there is one iPhone from 2025 that’s currently available at a discount. The iPhone 16e is the most budget of the iPhone 16 line-up with Apple introducing it part-way through the year.
It only has a single camera on the back and it uses recycled old body parts from the iPhone 13 phones, but that has let Apple cut the costs down significantly with it costing £599 at full price. However, LaptopsDirect has it for £100 off ahead of Black Friday.
Apple MacBook Air M4 (2025) – was £929, now £879

As expected, the launch of the M5 MacBook Pro’s has triggered the M4 MacBook Air laptops to drop slightly in price. These very capable machines only launched just over six months ago at the start of 2025, but they’re already dropping over £120 cheaper than the £999 MSRP they started at.
Very has the 13″ model for £879, which is an absolute bargain for a laptop as capable as this one.
Apple MacBook Pro (2011, refurbished) – was £399, now £159

Shoppers looking to save as much as possible on an Apple laptop could turn to Wowcher, where it’s possible to find refurbished models of much older MacBooks. This MacBook Pro model dates back to 2011, so it’s really showing its age with it no longer supported with official software updates from the manufacturer.
However, as long as you keep your expectations vastly in check, this laptop is still capable of very basic tasks like browsing the web, checking email and writing documents. At £159, it’s much cheaper than forking out for a brand new model, although the refurbsihed devices may show signs of wear and tear.
We’ll be updated this article with more Apple Black Friday 2025 deals as they come through. Be sure to check back later for more information.
