University of Alabama students to vote for 2025 homecoming queen

The University of Alabama held the annual homecoming pep rally and light show on the Quad.

Five students will vie for the title of 2025 homecoming queen at the University of Alabama.
UA students will vote Nov. 12 to determine the winner, and the homecoming queen will be officially announced Nov. 14 during the bonfire and pep rally on the Quad.
The homecoming queen and her court will participate in the parade on Nov. 15 and be presented later that day at halftime of the Alabama-Oklahoma football game.
Here’s a look at UA’s 2025 homecoming court:
Sydney Blackhurst
Sydney Blackhurst is a junior from Gilbert, Arizona, who is majoring in accounting. She’s also a member of UA’s swimming and diving program.
Blackhurst said that if elected, she would support the UA Rise Center through the Homecoming Queen Endowed Impact Fund. The Rise Center is a preschool program that serves children with disabilities and their typically developing peers from ages eight weeks to 5 years old.
Morgan Grzybowski
Morgan Grzybowski is a senior from Wildwood, Missouri, majoring in biology. She’s also the co-founder of the women’s hockey team at UA.
Grzybowski said she would support Remote Area Medical at UA, which provides medical care to underserved communities, through the Homecoming Queen Endowed Impact Fund.
Carrington Mills
Carrington Mills is a senior from Pelham who is majoring in chemical engineering.
Mills said she would use the Endowed Impact Fund to raise awareness about the Student Veterans Association and Veteran and Military Affairs, which provide resources to support veteran suicide prevention.
Rachel Rybicki
Rachel Rybicki is a senior from Grosse Pointe Park, Michigan, and a member of the UA gymnastics team. She’s double-majoring in finance and economics with a minor in Spanish.
Rybicki said she has spent the past three years at UA investing in the education of the students at Flatwoods Elementary. She said she’s running for homecoming queen in hopes of inspiring others to find their purpose.
Crawford West
Crawford West is a senior from Birmingham and a member of the track and field cross-country team at UA. She’s majoring in public health with a minor in sales.
West plans to support UA Paws, a student-organization that works with the Tuscaloosa Metro Animal Shelter if she’s elected homecoming queen.
Homecoming 2024
Hannah Adams earned the title of homecoming queen in 2024 at the University of Alabama. Adams was a senior from Birmingham, who double-majored in Political Science and Public Relations on the CREATE Path to a master’s degree in business administration.
The homecoming queen announcement was made on the UA Quad during an Oct. 25 pep rally, which also featured a bonfire and a drone light show.
Adams was crowned during halftime of the Alabama-Missouri football game. Alabama won the game, 34-0.
