Bulgarian Grigor Dimitrov was back on the pro Tour four months after his retirement at Wimbledon agaisnt Jannik Sinner and was happy to win against Frenchman Giovanni Mpetshi Perricard 7-6 (5), 6-1 in the opening match of the night sessions, to move into the second round of Paris Masters at the Paris La Défense Arena on Monday evening.
Dimitrov, ranked No 38, will play the winner of the match between Spaniard Jaume Munar and Russian Daniil Medvedev, the No 11 seed, next, that will be played on Tuesday in the Center Court.
