Tesco, Aldi, Morrisons and Lidl issue urgent ‘do not eat’ warnings as products recalled

Tesco is one of the supermarkets who have recalled a product
Tesco, Aldi, Morrisons and Lidl shoppers are being warned not to eat certain products that have now been pulled from supermarket shelves.
They have been urgently recalled due to safety concerns, with warnings now issued by the Food Standards Agency (FSA) to shoppers. People who have bought affected items listed below are being advised not to consume them and to instead return them to the stores they were bought from in exchange for a full refund.
They include chocolate, salad cream, custard tarts, waffles and breadcrumbs. Some are being recalled because they may contain metal while others could have ingredients such as peanuts, egg, mustard or wheat not listed on the label.
Dairyfine Crispy Choc Um’s
As a precautionary measure, Aldi is recalling Dairyfine Crispy Choc Um’s because the product may contain peanuts. The FSA said this means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to peanuts.

Milka
TJ Morris is recalling Milka Hazelnut, Milka Whole Nut and Milka Oreo Brownie chocolate because allergens are not declared in English on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents, an allergy to hazelnuts, (nuts) and/or soya, and/or an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten, or with coeliac disease.
The affected products were sold by T J Morris at Home Bargains. The details are:

Instead contact the customer careline at support@homebargains.co.uk, or alternatively, return them to the Home Bargain store from where they were bought for a full refund.”
Salad Cream
Morrisons is recalling Morrisons Savers Salad Cream because it may contain egg and mustard which are not mentioned on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy or intolerance to egg and/or an allergy to mustard.

Aldi is also recalling PYB02 PANATAS Part-Baked 6 pack custard tarts because they contain egg, milk and wheat (gluten), and may contain hazelnuts, sesame and soya which are not mentioned on the label. This means the product is a possible health risk for anyone with an allergy to egg, and/or an allergy or intolerance to milk or milk constituents, and/or an allergy to nuts and/or an allergy to sesame and/or an allergy to soya, and/or an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten, or for anyone with coeliac disease.
