Our Yorkshire Farm star Amanda Owen has been supported by fans as she opened up on “obstacles”.
The Yorkshire Shepherdess lives and works on Ravenseat Farm with her ex-husband, Clive, and their nine children.
Their first documentary series, Our Yorkshire Farm, debuted on Channel 5 back in 2018, and has since become one of the broadcaster’s most popular programmes.
Last year, Channel 4 commissioned a ten-part series, titled Our Farm Next Door, which follows the family as they undertake the renovation of a 200-year-old farmhouse in the Yorkshire Fales.
The second series was first broadcast earlier this year, with the show since being renewed for two more seasons.

On Saturday (October 25), Amanda took to Instagram to share a farm update with her followers.
Alongside a carousel of images of herself and her children working on the farm, Amanda wrote: “Life is busy. Obstacles thrown into your path, the road is never smooth.
“We just tackle everything head on (or arse first in the case of sheep at the moment). Always do our best and turn our hand to anything. Nothing ventured, nothing gained.
“Nowadays we have to be stronger than ever and mental strength (mindset) is the biggest driver of confidence and resilience.”
Fans quickly took to the comments section to share their support, with one person writing: “What a great family you have.”

A fourth fan echoed the sentiment, saying: “Really wish TV would commission you some more shows Amanda as we absolutely love watching your shows. Would be great to see what’s happening now.”
Amanda shared another update on social media after attending the Royal Television Society Yorkshire Awards with her film crew. Our Farm Next Door was notably nominated in the Features category at the event.
“As I said, nothing ventured, nothing gained. You have to be in it to win,” the post’s caption read.

“We’re all proud to be part of #OurFarmNextDoor. Excellent evening, great banter and good food.”
