Jennifer Lawrence’s ‘boob job’ confession

Jennifer Lawrence just won over mothers around the globe with her refreshingly honest take on motherhood.
The Oscar-winning actress, who welcomed her second child in March this year, has shared that she’s planning on undergoing surgery to help her body “bounce back” to what it once was before kids.
In an interview with The New Yorker, the 35-year-old actress candidly revealed that she was considering a boob job later this year after struggling with her post-partum body following the birth of her second son – believed to be named Louie.
“Everything bounced back, pretty much, after the first one,” the star said, referring to when she welcomed her eldest son Cy, with husband Cooke Maroney.
But as any mother would know, the second pregnancy isn’t always like the first. And for her second time around, the star’s body wasn’t playing game.
“Second one, nothing bounced back,” she added.
Lawrence shared that the temptation for surgery comes from the need to sit in on a nude scene for an upcoming film at the end of the year, but added she would probably still consider it if she wasn’t working in the spotlight.
“Maybe I wouldn’t be hustling to the appointment in the same way … but I think yes,” she further confessed.
The Hunger Games star has been cast in more maternal roles since her roles as a teen on the big screen and has won the hearts of many for being open and honest about her journey into motherhood.
Back in May, while promoting her new flick Die My Love at the Cannes Film Festival, the star shared how she could loosely relate to the mother she plays on screen.
Starring opposite Robert Pattinson, Lawrence took on the confronting role of a new mother who develops post-partum depression and psychosis.
“I had just had my firstborn, and there’s not really anything like post-partum,” she told Variety at the time.
“It’s extremely isolating, which is so interesting.”
The star went on to explain how becoming a mother has changed her completely – for the best.
“They’ve changed my life, obviously, for the best and they’ve changed me creatively. I highly recommend having kids if you want to be an actor,” she shared.
Lawrence first met husband, New York art dealer, Cooke, through a mutual friend back in 2018. The pair became engaged the following February and wed in Rhode Island at the Belcourt of Newport in 2019.
She described meeting her now-husband as a real “whoa” moment and they welcomed their first bub in 2022 before going again three years later.
