Starting XI | Hammers unchanged for Burnley visit

Jean-Clair Todibo faces Burnley for the first time, while his centre-back partner Maximilian Kilman played against the Clarets four times for Wolverhampton Wanderers, captaining Wolves in both Premier League meetings in 2023/24.

Freddie Potts keeps his place in midfield following his Man of the Match performance against Newcastle last weekend. The 22-year-old started twice for Portsmouth against Burnley in the EFL Championship last season, keeping a clean sheet in a goalless draw at Fratton Park in February.

Mateus Fernandes also faced Burnley last season for Southampton, but suffered a 1-0 FA Cup fourth-round defeat by the Clarets at St Mary’s Stadium in January.

Lucas Paquetá is seeking goals in back-to-back Premier League matches for the second time this season. The Brazilian netted in last week’s win over Newcastle, having previous scored against Chelsea and Nottingham Forest in late August.

Bowen will likely play wide on the right, with Crysencio Summerville out to continue his incredible individual record against Burnley from the left wing.

The Dutchman scored a hat-trick and assisted Leeds United U23s’ other goal in a 4-1 win over Burnley’s U23s in Premier League 2 back in January 2021. He then found the net again when Leeds won the reverse fixture 5-2 in May of the same year.

Up front, Callum Wilson has scored seven career goals against Burnley, including six in four starts for previous club Newcastle.

Łukasz Fabiański, Niclas Füllkrug, Dinos Mavropanos and Ollie Scarles are unavailable due to injury.
