Captain America is a dad!

Chris Evans welcomed his first baby with his wife, Alba Baptista, according to records obtained by TMZ.
The outlet reported that the couple welcomed a baby girl, Alma, on Friday, October 24, in Chris’ home state of Massachusetts.
The “Avengers” star and Alba have been married since 2023.

Though they mostly keep their lives private, Chris did open up about proposing to Alba in an interview with The Knot in June.
“I proposed to my wife in Portuguese,” he said. “She’s Portuguese, so I learned how to say ‘Will you marry me?’ in Portuguese. I had practiced it all week.
“I got really nervous when it came time to do it,” Chris continued. “I actually think I screwed it up, but I still know it.”
That same June, fans speculated that the couple may have been starting a family after Alba’s dad, Luiz Baptista, responded to a fan account wishing himself and Chris’ dad, G. Robert Evans III, a happy Father’s Day, per Page Six.

Luiz commented, “Many thanks dear Chris. Your turn is coming!”
Chris told Access Hollywood last November that he “absolutely” wanted kids. When asked about being a father one day, he said, “I hope so. The title of dad is an exciting one.”
