Tesco is axing a major service in over 2,700 stores across the UK by the end of next month. Tesco will wind down a partnership, causing a shake up for customers, it has confirmed.
From November 28, Tesco shoppers will no longer be able to pick up Evri parcels in store. By the end of November, Tesco will no longer accept or receive Evri parcels on behalf of customers.
Tesco is already in the process of winding down its partnership with Evri ParcelShop at individual stores, according to Sky News. As of Friday, November 28 the service will end across all Tesco Express stores.

“Our partnership with Evri, offering an over-the-counter Parcel Shop service at Tesco Express stores, is coming to an end,” a spokesperson said.
“We are in the process of winding down this service in our stores and will display details in individual stores of when the service will stop at that location. We are sorry for the inconvenience.”
In 2023, Evri announced a ground-breaking partnership with Tesco that will enable consumers to collect Tesco Clubcard points for every parcel they send with Evri – helping customers facing cost-of-living pressures as we approach the festive parcel-sending season.
It followed Evri’s partnership with Tesco, which launched in 2021, when Evri’s ParcelShop services were made available in Tesco Express stores across the UK enabling customers to send, receive and return parcels as they shopped.
Evri’s David Saenz said: “We’re proud to make sending a parcel even better value, through our partnership with Tesco Clubcard.
“Collecting points is an extra benefit we’re delighted to offer in addition to our market leading services, giving consumers control, choice and convenience as we approach the busy festive season.
“This launch is another step forward on our mission of delivering better for our customers. It is great to see two large and successful customer brands come together to help customers at a time when household budgets are under pressure”
