WeRide continues its robotaxi expansion in the Middle East. By Stewart Burnett
Chinese autonomous driving firm WeRide and Uber has commenced robotaxi operations in Riyadh, marking the latter’s first integration of self-driving vehicles in Saudi Arabia. Customers travelling between Roshn Front and Princess Noura University will now be able to select the Robotaxi GXR as an option when booking journeys through the Uber app.
