What channel is Milwaukee Bucks vs New York Knicks on today? Time, TV, streaming, odds

Giannis, Rivers and Green speak on Bucks’ 118-113 loss to Cavaliers

Giannis Antetokounmpo, Doc Rivers and AJ Green speak on the Bucks’ 118-113 loss to the Cavaliers in Cleveland on Oct. 26, 2025.

The NBA returns to NBC for the first season since 2002. They even brought back John Tesh’s theme song.

Milwaukee Bucks fans get to hear those nostalgic notes when the Bucks make their first national television appearance in the 2025-26 campaign, Oct. 28, when they host the New York Knicks at Fiserv Forum.

And though both teams are off to 2-1 starts and expected to be in the Eastern Conference playoff field again this season, it may take more than a few minutes for the broadcast crew to actually discuss the Oct. 28 Thursday night game. That’s because earlier this month it was reported that the Knicks and Bucks discussed a possible trade for Bucks star forward Giannis Antetokounmpo in the offseason. Antetokounmpo downplayed the reports, reiterating he wanted to stay in Milwaukee.

But that won’t stop national media members from trying to help create a big-market landing spot for Antetokounmpo even when he remains under contract with the Bucks at least through the 2026-27 season (He has a player option for 2027-28).

And the timing seems right for the Bucks’ first NBC game of the season as Antetokounmpo scored at least 30 points, grabbed at least 10 rebounds and had at least five assists in all three of his games to open the season.

Marquette fans should also tune in with additional interest as former Golden Eagles star Tyler Kolek has been backing up Jalen Brunson at the point guard spot.
