The Indiana Pacers (0-3) visit the Dallas Mavericks (1-3) tonight at American Airlines Center in Dallas in a matchup between two teams desperate to get on a winning track.

Dallas hasn’t fared much better. The Mavericks have underperformed offensively, ranking near the bottom of the league with 108.0 points per game. The absence of a real point guard is glaring.
Anthony Davis, averaging 25.0 points, 11.8 rebounds, and 1.5 blocks, is probable while managing an Achilles issue. Rookie Cooper Flagg has been inconsistent, following a 22-point game against the Toronto Raptors with a shooting just 1-for-9 in Monday’s loss to OKC, scoring only two points.
With both teams battered and struggling to find rhythm, tonight’s game may hinge on who can overcome absences and rediscover offensive flow first.

Dallas holds the edge at home against a depleted Indiana roster. Expect the Mavericks to exploit their size, but the Pacers will look to push the pace. They’ll keep this game close for most of the way.
