Many are reporting that they are unable to access Minecraft, with several players reporting outages and other problems while trying to log in to the title. Popular tool Downdetector has recorded hundreds of players complaining of issues while trying to access various game modes or even logging in.
The issue is tied to the massive Microsoft Azure outage that has been reported across different platforms. As of writing, hundreds of users have reported major issues with the cloud service on Downdetector. Even the social media platform X is flooded with gamers complaining that they are unable to play many titles, including Minecraft.
The official support channel for Mojang on the social media platform X has acknowledged the issue and has stated that they are actively working on a fix. They further stated that they will share an update when services have been restored.
With millions of active players, it comes as no surprise that they are vexed at this sudden outage. Gamers will have to wait for the Azure servers to be stabilised before they can yearn for the mines and check out the new features of the upcoming Mounts of Mayhem drop.
