ITV will not be airing Coronation Street tonight due to a schedule change

Coronation Street viewers will be wondering why there will be no installment of the Manchester-based soap on Wednesday (October 29), right after a huge Weatherfield return.
On Monday (October 27), Eva Price returned to the cobbles after seven years away and introduced a new family to the famous street.
Eva and Ben Driscoll were excited to welcome residents of Coronation Street to their first night in the pub, but the celebrations were soon halted as Maggie Driscoll made an appearance.
Speaking of her Maggie co-star, actress Catherine Tyldesley gushed: “Pauline (McLynn) is like my girl crush. She’s phenomenal. She is hilariously funny but also the heartbreak side of things — she’s incredible.
“Corrie fans are going to adore her. She is going to be a brand new Corrie icon. I just love watching her.”
However, fans will have to wait just a bit longer to find out what drama awaits upon their arrival as ITV won’t be airing Coronation Street on Wednesday.
Instead, the Carabao Cup: Newcastle Utd v Spurs will air in the usual soap timeslot.
Not to worry though, as Coronation Street will return on Thursday (October 30) at 8pm.

Catherine teased that Eva will have some fun scenes on the horizon with Maria Connor, and shared: “She had an affair with Aidan, and Eva loves a grudge. So, they’re writing really well for Eva and Maria.
“It’s kind of like the new Eileen and Gail scenario, but that’s great fun. It’s great telly.”
She continued: “Samia (Longchambon) and I are great friends in real life, we have such a giggle playing out these storylines, it is great.”
Speaking about her first day back on the cobbles, Catherine admitted: “It was surreal. It was like they just had me in a cupboard and thought, ‘should we bob her back on?’
“A lot of the people that I worked with seven years ago were still there, which was just so lovely and I was made to feel so welcome, because I was really nervous.”
