O’Neill retakes the Celtic reins, with Hearts on toppublished at 18:45 GMT
Scottish Premiership leaders Hearts visit St Mirren, while Hibs v Rangers looks like a potential cracker, but the remarkable return of Martin O’Neill at Celtic tops the bill on a busy night of action.
The 73-year-old has been drafted in as a temporary replacement following the shock departure of Brendan Rodgers on Monday night and gets straight to work against Falkirk, with assistance from Shaun Maloney.
O’Neill made his debut in the Celtic dugout in the summer of 2000 and waved goodbye after five trophy-laden years. These are turbulent times for the champions but his comeback is sure to be emotional.
Both sides of the Old Firm changing managers mid-season is unheard of and Hearts are certainly making the most of the tumult in the west, racking up win after win.
Kilmarnock host Aberdeen and Dundee United visit Fir Park to take on Motherwell.
There’s a lot going on, so let’s get cracking…
