Tennessee supply plant closing, laying off more than 100 workers

DAVIDSON COUNTY, Tenn. (WSMV) – An HD Supply distribution center in Middle Tennessee will close its doors for good next year and announced layoffs ahead of the holiday season.

A total of 108 employees will be affected.

HD Supply, located on 50 Teledyne Place in Davidson County, filed an official WARN notice with the Tennessee Department of Labor and Workforce Development (TDLWD) on October 27. The facility will permanently close on January 9, 2026.

HD Supply is a wholly owned subsidiary of The Home Depot, according to its website, and has more than 100 distribution centers across the U.S. and Canada.

According to the TDLWD, employees at the facility are not represented by a union. The Northern Middle Workforce Development Board’s rapid response team has been notified to coordinate services with the employer and affected employees.

The Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act or WARN Act is a federal law that offers protection to workers, their families and communities by requiring employers to provide notice 60 days in advance of plant closings, mass layoffs, or sale of a business.
