Emergency services were called to the scene on the Logan Motorway in Kingston at about 1.19am, south of Brisbane.
It’s understood a truck was involved in the crash.
Police confirmed the motorway had been closed in both directions while the scene is under investigation.
Diversions are in place between Station Road for west-bound traffic, and Wembley Road for east-bound traffic, but motorists are urged to avoid the area or expect delays.
