What started as a rumor quickly became a reality when the stars made it official a week after discovering their link to each one.

Thompson was the first to make things official when he posted a collage of images on his Instagram featuring intimate photos of him and Megan. The couple then made their relationship public at the Pete & Thomas Foundation Gala in New York on July 16, 2025.

Megan Thee Stallion in attendance at Mavericks game against Thunder to support Klay Thompson

With the relationship between Megan Thee Stallion and Klay Thompson seemingly getting serious, the rapper appears to be showing her dedication to her man as she was spotted at the American Airlines Center on Monday to cheer on the Dallas Mavericks. Megan was in full Texan mode as she wore a cowgirl hat matched with high-heeled boots.

Unfortunately for the Mavericks, they lost to the OKC Thunder 101-94. Not even Megan’s presence could help boost Klay Thompson’s performance. Klay finished the game with eight points, four rebounds and two assists. Thompson also struggled finding his rhythm, only making 27.3% of his shots.

Trying to keep the game alive for the Mavericks was Anthony Davis. AD had another double-double performance, putting up 26 points, 11 rebounds and one block. Helping Davis on offense were PJ Washington and Max Christie. Washington scored 15 points, while Christie added 14 points.

The Mavericks are set to face off against the Indiana Pacers on Wednesday.
